The Coumadin Facts Database is composed of 9 seperate forms: Management of INR 5-9, Management of INR > 9, Managing High INR Values with no Bleeding, Management of High INR Values with Bleeding, Drugs that Increase and Decrease INR values, Follow Up Algorithms, INR by Conditions and Initial Dosing.
The Dosing Guidelines give the indicated INR range based on the disease or condition. Guidelines - Indications are separated into 3 categories by INR Range: 2.0 - 3.0, 2.5 - 3.5, and > 2.0 - 3.0.The F/U Algorithms are used to determine the frequency of repeat Prothrombin Time & International Normalized Ratio (INR) tests as well as repeat testing in special circumstances
From the top of the Counadin Facts Database the user is given 4 choices in dealing with prolonged INR and bleeding scenarios. These include Prolonged INR with no bleeding, Prolonged INR with  bleeding, INR > 5 and < 9, and INR > 9. Each of these 4 conditions give a fairly specific plan of action.
The last 2 forms show meds effects on PT and INR values. The form on the left shows a list of meds that can decrease PT/INR values. The right form shows meds that can increase PT/INR values.
